I wanted to start a record of my experiences since giving birth. So I don't write all the history for the last 4 months in one post, I'm going to try to recall some of them.
Baby Girl came earlier than expected- 1 month early. It was me, not her. Preeclampsia is a bitch. We were signed up for the breastfeeding class the Saturday after she was delivered, so needless to say, we didn't make it.
The delivery was more complicated than I had hoped for and neither of us was ready for breastfeeding when she was delivered. She was put to breast and nothing happened. Before I knew it, she was whisked away to the NICU for jaundice and some oxygen. I was in recovery being told that she needed some formula due to her blood sugar level dropping. And so it began.
